Don't leave Pozo Del Rey without first going for a hike along the Vereda de las Cotorras; there's great hiking along the Verada Piedra Blanca. Pozo Del Rey is a quite wet place typically with a lot of precipitation; during May this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. The Vereda Caracol offers hiking at its best. You're sure to bump into some       great folks from Aguadilla-Isabela-San Sebastián here, and Guabo River is a good whitewater spot close by. You get a good view of El Centro from Pozo Del Rey, and you can run the rapids of Anasco River. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Pozo Del Rey temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 70's.
