There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Laguna Cartagena. A journey to Playa Boqueron in close proximity to Laguna Cartagena is always a pleasant idea, and you'll meet a lot of people from San Germán-Cabo Rojo here. At Laguna Cartagena       you can see Cerro Mariquita. Lakes are brilliant; Laguna Guaniquilla is a lake that's right next door to Laguna Cartagena. This lake is so wonderful. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Anasco River. All through the summertime months at Laguna Cartagena temperatures are frequently in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Take a hike on the Fuerte Trail, and Balneario Publico de Boqueron is a pretty beach to go to. If you come at the right time of year, Guabo River offers some wonderful whitewater, and you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Cano Boqueron is one of those close by. Laguna Cartagena is a wet spot that gets a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is September; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
