Summertime at Laguna Atolladero arrives with high temperatures in the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 80's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Laguna Atolladero drop into the 60's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Laguna Atolladero a wet place; through August this area sees the most rain while January is the month with       the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Vereda Helechal is always a tremendous adventure, and Punta Arenas is not far at all. A day at Playa Punta Arenas in the neighborhood of Laguna Atolladero is time well spent, and you can go for a hike on the Vereda Caracol. If you get bored of Laguna Atolladero, you could also stop by nearby Laguna Joyuda, and get soaked paddling on Anasco River. This lake is so wonderful.                  Quebrada Irizarry is a perfect place to visit close to Laguna Atolladero; folks from Mayagüez love to come here. This spot is so good, just check out all the fun stuff to do near Laguna Atolladero. Laguna Atolladero is not the only spot nearby, Laguna Bocanasilla is a nearby lake, and there are splendid sites to discover along the Vereda Descanso.
