Lago Numero Uno is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Lago Numero Uno, you'll hit upon Lago Gely which is a pretty lake, and Quebrada Ausubo is another tremendous place to have a look at nearby. Lago Numero Uno is a wet place that gets a good deal of rain; all through September this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Don't leave Lago Numero Uno without first going for

| | a hike along the Vereda Alcantarilla; during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Ponce for sure.
Glide down the rapids of Areciebo River in a kayak; beaches are perfect and Balneario El Tuque is no exception. During the warm days of summer highs here at Lago Numero Uno get into the 90's; the night is fairly colder of course, usually in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 80's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Lago Numero Uno tend to be in the 50's.
