Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lago Numero Tres; Lluberas Trail is a fine local trail, and close by Quebrada Ausubo is a great place to go. Don't leave Lago Numero Tres without first going for a hike along the Vereda Alcantarilla, and on a gorgeous day you can go to Balneario El Tuque. This lake is so wonderful. There's brilliant hiking along the Meseta Trail, and you can run the rapids of Areciebo       River. Rio Bayagan is a stream that you may run into while you're here, and lakes are such calm locations, why not stop by Lago Numero Dos. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lago Numero Tres a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is September, and January meanwhile is the driest month. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Lago Numero Tres has it all. The cheerful people of Ponce like to hang out nearby, and Lago Moline                  is a nice lake nearby. For the period of the warm months at Lago Numero Tres temperatures are usually in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's.
