Beautiful Lago Guayo has much to offer visitors. You completely must adore Lago Guayo. Lago Guayo gets a good deal of water; during May this area sees the most rain; the driest month is January. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Areciebo River, and why not a little side spree to Rio Cidra. During the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 90's at Lago Guayo. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Lago Guayo; Vereda Descanso is a fine local trail, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Guabo River. Lago Guayo is right by the Cobanas Trail; this is a popular location for people from Adjuntas. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Vereda Helechal, and the panorama of beautiful Cerro Avispa is great. | |
