Go for a hike on the Meseta Trail, and not far from Lago Giles you'll discover Lago Moline which is a delightful lake. A tour to Quebrada Ausubo is always fun. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Ponce here, and going for a hike on the Vereda Alcantarilla is always a good adventure. At Lago Giles throughout the summer highs are in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are       in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 80's while the cold winter nights at Lago Giles are in the 50's. Yep, outdoors cool stuff to do are truly abundant here at Lago Giles. Good hiking is available along the Lluberas Trail, and swing by Rio Bayagan it's a perfect location to pop by. Hit the beach if you want, Balneario El Tuque is practically right here, and Areciebo River is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Cerro Los Negrones                  is scenic and can be distinguished from Lago Giles, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Lago Bronce.
