     The beauty of Lago Garzas attracts many people from all around. This is a great region for folks who like lakes. Lago Pellejas is a lake in the vicinity; from Lago Garzas you obtain a good vista of Cerro Bartolo. Summertime highs at Lago Garzas commonly tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 80's; night lows in the 60's for Lago Garzas. The high level of rainfall makes Lago Garzas a pretty wet site;  
   the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain; January is the month with the least moisture.
You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Areciebo River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Velez Trail. You're in all probability addicted to lakes, Lago Adjuntas is one of those close by; you're sure to come across some nice people from Adjuntas here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around
 
               Lago Garzas; Vereda Alcantarilla is a great local trail, and Bosque Estatal de Guilarte is worth taking a look at.
This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Rio Garzas; the Cobanas Trail offers hiking at its best. Paddling on Guabo River is so much fun.

Visited Puerto Rico a few months ago and Lago Caonillas in Utuado, which is a real beauty.  While there visited Los Pinos Lake Resort and plan to stay there next time.  They have a webpage:  http://www.lospinoslakeresort.com/...
It just takes your breath away. I lived in Utuado when I was a teen, and enjoyed every minute of it. The peace and the quiet is very welcoming. The stillness of it all, is just one of the wonderful reasons why Puerto Rico...lo hace mejor!...
