Charco Azul is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Charco Azul is a wet spot that gets a good deal of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. The major highlight in the vicinity is the Sierra de Cayey, and going for a hike on the Charco Azul Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. | | is another tremendous place to stop by close by. Good hiking is available along the Recreacion Nacional Sendero de las Vientos, and the wonderful people of Guayama like to hang out nearby. Go for a hike on the El Rada Trail. At Charco Azul throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 80's while Charco Azul nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 60's.
