Zooks Dam is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Camping is available at Shoop's Country Campground, and there's whitewater on Kishacoquillas Creek for all you thrill seekers. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Elk Creek, and do go to Markee Creek while you're here at Zooks Dam. Zooks Dam is a good spot of common precipitation; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; January is when it's the driest.

High temperatures at Zooks Dam through the summer months are in the 80's; the nighttime is rather chillier
of course, regularly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Zooks Dam all through the wintertime commonly plunge into the 10's.
