If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Zinkand Pond. There's so much to do here at Zinkand Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Artillery Ridge Camp Resort is a splendid spot for that, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Liberty since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Stay       the night at Drummer Boy Camping Resort, and nice hiking is available along the Ant Mount Trail. Why not stop by nearby Stevens Run since you're here at Zinkand Pond; you're perhaps addicted to lakes, Kaiser Lake is one of those close by. Be careful coming to Zinkand Pond, you might not ever want to return back home again. There are some nice whitewater spots on Marsh Creek, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Gettysburg for sure. For                  the duration of the summertime highs here at Zinkand Pond get into the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Zinkand Pond are in the 20's. The yearly rainfall here at Zinkand Pond is about average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. It's always glorious to stop by Spanglers Spring; Catoctin Mountain Park is a delightful national park. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Heritage is close to Zinkand Pond; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Gettysburg is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. You can catch a glimpse of Benner Hill from Zinkand Pond, and you can go for a hike on the Scenic Vista Trail.
