It is in town and safe.  Beautiful view of the pond and island which has ducks and geese all year around.  Also there is a lovely bridge. The pavillion and children's playground are clean and so are the toilet facilities. There is also a ballfield for baseball and soccer. Love it there. Gregory Pond is a lake in the vicinity, and going for a hike along the Camelback Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. Zacharias Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest. A good panorama of delightful Fox Hill is available from Zacharias       Pond, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Lake Valhalla. A day on the slopes of Alpine Mountain is just what you need, and people from East Stroudsburg love to come here. At Zacharias Pond through the months of summer highs are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Zacharias                  Pond. All the outdoors fun stuff close to Zacharias Pond will keep you coming back time and again. While you're here at Zacharias Pond you can take a hike along the Burley Inlet Trail, and since you're here you can play some golf at Terra Golf Course. The views at Delaware National Scenic River will blow your mind, and if you need a spot to stay Days Inn East Stroudsburg is a magnificent choice. Having a magnificent time at Zacharias Pond is easy. If you're here at Zacharias Pond, you could stop by McMichael Creek, and if you came to camp Timothy Lake Resort is a delightful site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Pocono Creek; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Shawnee Mountain is reasonably near. If you're here, you might as well stop by Foxtown Gap, and Super 8 Motel - Stroudsburg is a fine place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Brodhead Creek, and you don’t have to go far from Zacharias Pond to see the water at Lower Dam Sambo Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Indian Trail.
