If you came for an overnight stay French Creek Campground is a delightful place to camp; you can take a little visit to Tamarack Lake Dam B while you're here at Yosets Lake. Yosets Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is generally the driest month. At Yosets Lake during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer       night lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Yosets Lake plunge into the 10's. Mud Run is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Meadville here. South Sandy Creek is a good whitewater spot right next door to Yosets Lake, and after a long day outdoors Meadville-Days Inn Conference Center is a magnificent                  location to spend a night or two.
