The beauty of Yoders Pond is reason enough to stop by. Hidden Valley is a good local ski area, and why not camp at Mason Dixon Campground since you're here at Yoders Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Grantsville is a pleasant place to get some rest; you're probably interested in lakes, Laurel Falls Lake is one of those close by. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Somerset,Pa, and there's a brilliant forest called Forbes State Forest.

| | available at New Germany State Park, and at Yoders Pond you can observe Lease Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Crab Run is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Casselman River.

Yoders Pond is not far at all from Somerset. Yoders Pond is a relatively wet place typically with a good deal of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month is February. At Yoders Pond during the long
summer days highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Yoders Pond.
