Skiing at Jack Frost is one of those things you just must do. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Yatesville Pond, you could stop at Lampblack
Creek, and a good close by hotel is Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Pittston Knights Inn. The amount of rain that falls at Yatesville Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout July, and January meanwhile is the
driest month.
If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Yatesville Pond. Drift down the rapids of Lackawanna River in a kayak, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Refuge Trail.
