Summertime highs at Yatesville Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are frequently in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Yatesville Pond temperatures plunge to the 10's. and hit Spring Brook, and a golf course close by is Fox Hill Country Club. Skiing at Jack Frost is one of those things you just must do. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Yatesville Pond, you could stop at Lampblack
Creek, and a good close by hotel is Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Pittston Knights Inn. The amount of rain that falls at Yatesville Pond is close to the national average; most of the rain falls throughout July, and January meanwhile is the
driest month. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Yatesville Pond. Drift down the rapids of Lackawanna River in a kayak, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Refuge Trail.
