At Yatesville Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Yatesville Pond. Yeah, come here to Yatesville Pond for a delightful time. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close       by Jack Frost. A brilliant nearby hotel is Super 8 Pittston; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Choke Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Yatesville Pond is right by the Pinnacle Trail; some of the water close by flows, like Lampblack Creek. If you need a location to stay Knights Inn - Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Pittston is a splendid choice, and you can hit the slopes at Montage Mountain in the vicinity. A great site to camp here at Yatesville Pond is Highland Camp Ground, and glide down the rapids of Spring Brook in a kayak. Fox Hill Country Club is a nice golf course nearby, and why not camp at Sandy Valley Campground while you're here at Yatesville Pond.
