If you are traveling by, why not stop by Yatesville Pond. If you like the outdoors, you'll love Yatesville Pond. The snow is fine at Jack Frost. High temperatures at Yatesville Pond during the warm months are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Yatesville Pond fall into the 10's. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun.

A good close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Pittston, and don't leave Yatesville Pond without first going for a hike along the Choke Creek Trail. Trail is always a good adventure, and obviously Lampblack Creek flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Highland Camp Ground is always a magnificent experience, obviously you could also check out Gardner
Creek Reservoir since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something near Yatesville Pond? Deep Hollow Pond is close at hand; lots of people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre come here. The best way to
spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Montage Mountain, and an attention-grabbing thing to stop by near Yatesville Pond is Mill Creek Intake Dam. Yatesville Pond is a good place of normal precipitation; July is the wettest
month with most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. There are fine places to explore along the Refuge Trail, and if you need a location to stay Scranton/Wilkes-Barre/Pittston Knights Inn is a wonderful choice.
