If you are in Carbon county it's always a good idea to stop by YMCA Dam. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hilton Scranton & Conference Center is a splendid place to spend a night or two; an afternoon playing golf at Pine Hills Country Club is always a diversion. YMCA Dam is not the only place nearby, Mountain Lake is a nearby lake; a perfect place for whitewater paddling is Spring Brook. Really good skiing awaits you at Montage Mountain, and

| | the Refuge Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre come to YMCA Dam; Lackawanna River is a great whitewater spot nearby. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Jack Frost. For the period of the warmest time of the year at YMCA Dam highs are typically in the 70's. 10's overnight here at YMCA Dam. A journey to Nay Aug Park Gorge is always fun, and hiking is a popular thing to do around YMCA Dam; Pinnacle Trail is a wonderful local trail. YMCA Dam sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most
of the rain falls during June while February is typically the driest month. There's so much to do here at YMCA Dam that you need to camp here for a while, How Kola Camp is a tremendous place for that, and if you get bored of YMCA
Dam you could also visit close by Cooling Pond. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area next to YMCA Dam has to offer. Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel Scranton is a tremendous place to get some rest,
and YMCA Dam is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Highland Camp Ground is a glorious local campground. And that's not all you can do here at YMCA Dam. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Choke Creek Trail; there's
some flowing water close by, Meadow Brook is a stream you can check out while here. Nay Aug Falls is an inspiring spot to check out while you're here, and YMCA Dam is not far at all from YMCA Dam.
