Whohoo,

so many enjoyable things in one place! Wolf Lake is so good! The snow is pleasant at Ski Big Bear; The Lodge at Woodloch is a glorious place to get some rest. Go for a hike on the White Deer Trail; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lackawaxen River. Going for a hike on the Steam Mill Trail is always a tremendous adventure; do explore Teedyuskung Lake, it's a gorgeous lake.
Don't forget to take a splendid little

journey to Rattlesnake Creek, and if you came to camp Camp Watonka is a glorious spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Lodge at Woodloch is a great place to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Wolf Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trail's End Camp is a great place for that. Wolf Lake regularly gets a good deal of precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
Near Wolf Lake you discover the Crawford Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and while you're here, you could also take a look at striking Little Teedyuskung Lake.

Wilsonville Recreation Area
Wilsonville is fun and enjoyable for you and your family. You can camp, boat, or fish. Everything is well maintained and enjoyable. Wilsonville has been enjoyable for the past five years that I 've been going there. I look to have another great year at Wilsonville again this year!...I found Wilsonville to be a nice family campground. The facilities are well maintained, and they offer both wooded and camper sights. They even have some walk-in sights near the lake.
One of the best points is that they have launches and docks for boating on beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack. We have gone for the past 2 years and plan on doing so again this year....

Shohola Creek
Raft??? First off, I cant see raft going through box canyon. It might be possible, but I wouldn't want to see someone I care about be the first. After the box, downstream of the route 6 bridge, you would need a lot of rain, I mean an awful lot of rain to get through the flat water section. Personally, I do some tough runs (CL4+) and I'm not sure I'd wanna be there with that much water. With plenty of water, medium level, we were scraping a lot in the flat water section. Also, in the canyon, if someone gets hurt, they are in for a bad day. This is evident by looking at a typo map or looking down from route three bridge. ''outside the state you might find the rivers here are more forgiving''. My travel for White Water is limited: NY, NJ, MA, CT, WV, MD, VT, NC. Never been out west. With my limited experience the above states and PA and 5 years kayaking including winter, I have no clue what the above quote means. Ratings CL1-5 (6 being a rating meaning it might not be runable), while far from perfect is a pretty good indication of water difficulty. Don't paddle here unless you know wha...
