Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do next to Witmers Lake. Witmers Lake is right by the Camelback Trail, and why not camp at Arrowhead Campground if you're here at Witmers Lake. Flower Field Motel And Cottages is a fine location to get some rest; you can hit the slopes at Mount Airy Lodge nearby. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great world it would be. Witmers Lake       is near Wind Gap which is certainly worth checking out, and as expected, this is a brilliant region for folks who like lakes, Nazareth Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Lakeside Trail, and Camelback has glorious slopes and a friendly staff. Camping is available at The Camp At East Lake, and a nice close by hotel is Red Carpet Inn Wind Gap. If you come at the right time of year, Pocono Creek offers some pleasant                  whitewater, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Lake Watawah is one of those close by. Witmers Lake is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily May, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest. Take a side spree to Spring Run; the vistas at Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor will blow your mind. All through the summertime here at Witmers Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Witmers Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Witmer Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out, and at Witmers Lake you always meet someone from East Stroudsburg.
