What a nice lake Windber Reservoir is. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Windber Reservoir; Wolf Rocks Trail is a perfect local trail. You could also explore Bigan Pond since you're here at Windber Reservoir; it's nearby; there's fine hiking along the Old '56' Trail. For the duration of the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Windber Reservoir, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during

Sleepy Hollow Campground is a pleasant local campground. Beaverdam Run is a good local stream; camping at Pine Oaks Camp Ground is always a perfect experience. Windber Reservoir gets a typical amount of precipitation; June is
the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Windber Reservoir there are plenty of people from Johnstown, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Dark Shade Creek. Glide down
the rapids of Clear Shade Creek in a kayak, and if you need a location to stay Sleep Inn Johnstown is a wonderful choice.
