Wilsons Swamp Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Summertime at Wilsons Swamp Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Wilsons Swamp Pond. The summit of Pocono Mountains can be observed from Wilsons Swamp Pond; there are swamps here too, Wilson Swamp is in the vicinity. Man, is there a lot of amusing things to do in close proximity to Wilsons Swamp Pond. Do stop by Icks Pond near Wilsons Swamp Pond, it's a lovely lake, and Little Falls is always fun to check out. the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Burley Inlet Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Ledgedale
Recreation Area is a pleasant site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. There are some good whitewater spots on Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch; dry warm beds await you at Merry Inn. If only every location had this much outdoors
enjoyable stuff, what a great planet it would be. Ridgefield Point is nearby and always great to take a look at; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Wallenpaupack Creek.
If you haven’t
been to Delaware National Scenic River, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here, and the Pocono Mountains towers over Wilsons Swamp Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from East Stroudsburg come to Wilsons
Swamp Pond. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Boundary Trail; after a long day outdoors Hi Country Cottages is a good spot to spend a night or two.
There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Tanglwood; Kintz Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking out.
