mother nature reveals herself at Big Springs. High temperatures at Williamsburg Station Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs
in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Williamsburg Station Lake. There is a delightful hiking trail next to Williamsburg Station Lake called the Sheep Rock Trail, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Altoona is a fine
place to spend a night or two. Williamsburg Station Lake is a good site of common rain; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is January.
