This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Altoona is a great location to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Great Trough Creek, and lakes are such serene sites, why not have a look at Williamsburg Station Lake. Williamsburg       Reservoir gets a common amount of rain; throughout June this area sees the most rain, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Rainbow Trail; you can stay the night at Woodland Camping Resort. There are fine spots to look at along the Indian Trail, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Blue Knob is relatively near. Going for a hike on the Sheep Rock Trail is always a great adventure, and if you're popping by from                  Altoona, you won't be the only one. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Williamsburg Reservoir reach the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Williamsburg Reservoir. Be careful coming to Williamsburg Reservoir, you might not ever want to go back home again.
