Hunters Lake
 | 10 miles away We hiked around Hunters Lake in November. It was a rainy weekend and some of the trail was very wet but it was a flat, easy hike and the soggy ground was not hazardous. Parking is on the opposite side of Brunnerdale from the lake. Follow the gold blazes to hike around the lake. They begin on your left after crossing the dam. The last mile of the hike is actually on Brunnerdale Road. Not sure why the trail doesn't continue lakeside. Good family outing.... |

Lake Ondawa
 | 16 miles away I was there last sunday night. The flares were beautiful. I did read a sign however that said ''No open fires''. Yet on the public beach side there was an open fire. Who was granted permission to do this? I also noticed a camper parked near the lake on the old softball field. Does this mean we can use that area as a campground? I would love to go camp there. I would reserve a spot all summer long. Bonfires and what not....Pretty little lake in Bradford County... |
