All through the warm days of summer at Wild Rice Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's while Wild Rice Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. If the weather is wonderful here at Wild Rice Lake, you can go for a hike along the Old House Trail, and whitewater       paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Elk Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Hemlock Valley Campground, and obviously Falls Run is a stunning stream that is worth checking out. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Wild Rice Lake. Buttermilk Falls Campground is a splendid campground nearby; do check out Crystal Lake, it's a wonderful lake. While you're here at Wild Rice Lake, you                  could also stop by pretty Mud Lake, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Falls Run Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Williamsport, and after a long day outdoors Williamsport Super 8 Motel is a good location to spend a night or two. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Wild Rice Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally June, that's the one that rains the most; the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful.
