Why not take a refreshing hike along the White Deer Trail; Gates Hill can be seen from White Deer Lake. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Get soaked paddling on Shohola Creek, and camping at Camp Watonka       is always a great experience. Take a hike on the East Branch Bruce Lake Trail; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at High Falls. Man, is there loads of amusing stuff to do right next door to White Deer Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to White Deer Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at White Deer Lake are in the 10's.
