The beauty of White Deer Lake is reason enough to stop by. Wilsonville Recreation Area is a magnificent local campground, and going for a hike on the Blooming Grove Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at High Falls since you're here at White Deer Lake; a pleasant visit to Gates Meadow is a fine way to spend an afternoon. | | time of the year brings highs in the 70's to White Deer Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows at White Deer Lake through the wintertime commonly descend into the 10's. After a long day outdoors The Lodge at Woodloch is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and from White Deer Lake you obtain a great sight of Gates Hill. This lake is so wonderful. by, Gates Run is a stream you can check out during your stay, and Fairview Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. What would winter be without some skiing at Tanglwood, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's
for you then, we recommend Shohola Creek. White Deer Lake gets lots of water; the month with most of the rain is May; February is when it's the driest. Good hiking is available along the East Branch Bruce Lake Trail, and dry warm
beds await you at The Settlers Inn. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at White Deer Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Big Bear while you're here; while you're
here and you like golf, you can visit Cricket Hill Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Westbrook Estate Dam since you're here at White Deer Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Camp Watonka is a delightful site to camp.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Delaware National Scenic River is a good spot close to White Deer Lake, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Lackawaxen River.
