Camping is available at Idle Acres Camping Area. The yearly precipitation here at Westover Pond is about average; June is the month that gets the most rain; January is when it's the driest. Westover Pond is not the only location close by, Lake Perez is a close by lake, and if you need a place to stay Comfort       Inn Huntingdon is a perfect choice. Get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Kishacoquillas Creek; if you came for an overnight stay Hemlock Hideaway Campground is a great site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail near Westover Pond called the Eleven Springs Trail, and Big Valley is in close proximity, and is a glorious spot. This lake is so wonderful. Ironwood Golf Course is a tremendous golf course close by; here                  at Westover Pond you can spot Stone Mountain. Summertime at Westover Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Westover Pond. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Westover Pond. Near Westover Pond you hit upon the Martin Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and if you've had enough of Westover Pond, Hutchinson Pond is close by.
