This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Braddock Motor Inn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two; get yourself into a kayak and hit Jennings Run. The Old Mail Trail offers hiking at its best, and soar down the rapids of Wills Creek in a kayak. Through the summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Western Maryland Reservoir, and the overnight is       somewhat colder of course, generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Western Maryland Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. A great close by hotel is Frostburg Days Inn, and here at Western Maryland Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of Little Savage Mountain. A lake nearby is Frostburg Reservoir.
