If you are in Pike county it's always a good idea to stop by Westcolang Pond. There are some fine whitewater spots on Lackawaxen River, and Westcolang Lake Dam is a delightful spot. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Westcolang Pond, so little time. Good hiking is available along the Schiff Trail; Tanglwood has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. Camping is available at Lake Greeley Camp, and The Lodge at Woodloch is a glorious place to get some rest.

High temperatures at Westcolang Pond through the summertime months are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Westcolang Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Cricket Hill Golf Club is a golf course in close proximity to Westcolang Pond, and don't leave Westcolang Pond without first going for a hike along the Crawford
Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for a perfect tour? Delaware National Scenic River is quite in the vicinity of Westcolang Pond; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Shohola Creek.
Westcolang Pond generally gets a large amount of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
If you need a location to stay The Lodge at Woodloch is a great choice, and
a brilliant site to camp here at Westcolang Pond is Camp Shohola. There are pleasant spots to look at along the Steam Mill Trail; not far from Westcolang Pond you'll find York Lake which is a pretty lake.
