Wernetts Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Going for a hike on the Boulder Field Trail is always a glorious adventure, and if you need a location to stay Harmony Lake Shore Inn is a brilliant choice. So many enjoyable things to do here at Wernetts Pond, too pleasant to be true. Don't leave Wernetts Pond without first going for a hike along the Refuge Trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from East Stroudsburg here. This lake is so wonderful.

| | There are perfect sites to look at along the Choke Creek Trail; Carpsrocus Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit.
Head up to Big Boulder and strap some skis to your feet; whitewater paddling is good on Tunkhannock Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Why not have a look at Sincavage Lumber Company Dam while you're here, and a great swamp close to Wernetts Pond is Yost Swamp.

uncomplicated to spot from Wernetts Pond. If you're here at Wernetts Pond and you like golf, you can stop at Split Rock Country Club, and after a long day outdoors Hickory Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. If you have
a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for Wernetts Pond. Get wet paddling on Lehigh River, and a day on the slopes of Split Rock is just what you need.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Wernetts Pond a wet place; the
month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February. There's so much to do here at Wernetts Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Fern Ridge Campground is a good location for that;
there are other spots here than Wernetts Pond, for example Big Boulder Lake. Summertime at Wernetts Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while Wernetts Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
