If you like lakes and you're in this part of Pennsylvania you can check out Weiser Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Weiser Lake a rather wet spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. Get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Brandywine Creek - West Branch; there's fine hiking along the Lenade Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Egelman Basin, and camping at Lake- In- Wood Camping is always a delightful experience. Country Inn By Carlson Wyomissing is a fine site to get some rest, and there's always Mirror Pool Dam to stop at in the vicinity of Weiser Lake. Good hiking is available along the Horseshoe Trail, and hey, Tulpehocken Creek is a pleasant local stream.

from Reading. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Weiser Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Blue Falls Grove Campground is a good local campground; playing golf is lots of fun at Village Golf Course.
Summer at Weiser Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's, and after the sun is down through
the wintertime temperatures at Weiser Lake descend into the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Angelica Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore, and hey, Gotta ski right? Blue Marsh is a fine place to do that.
