During the warm months highs here at Waynesboro Reservoir reach the 80's, and the nighttime is rather cooler of course, generally in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Waynesboro Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. On a       magnificent day at Waynesboro Reservoir you can take a hike along the Sandy Ridge Trail, and after a long day outdoors Scottish Inns & Suites Fayetteville is a delightful location to spend a night or two. You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Ski Liberty, and camping is available at Colonels Crk Campground. You could also go to Comet Lake while you're here at Waynesboro Reservoir; it's nearby, and since you're here you can take a hike along                  the Warrior Trail. From a rain point of view Waynesboro Reservoir is a quite normal spot; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month. While you're here at Waynesboro Reservoir you can play some golf at Penn National Golf Club; a good nearby hotel is Carroll Valley Resort. The vista of Briar Mountain from Waynesboro Reservoir is picturesque, and you can run the rapids of Owens Creek. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Hayes Run is a wonderful local stream, and while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Chambersburg. You just must love Waynesboro Reservoir.
