Red Ridge Lake Campground is a great campground here, and Mountain Valley Golf Course is a glorious golf course close by. You'll meet a lot of people from Pottsville here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Black Creek. A good nearby hotel is Schuylkill Skyport Inn, and Waste House Run Reservoir is a glorious place to camp, Christmas Pines Camp Ground is a glorious place. The yearly rainfall
here at Waste House Run Reservoir is about average; most of the rain falls all through June, and February is the month with the least moisture.
For the period of the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Waste
