A visit to Walters Mill Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Walters Mill Pond without first going for a hike along the Indian Trail, and a delightful site for whitewater paddling is Martins Creek. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Walters Mill Pond. Colonial woods Family Resort is a wonderful campground nearby, and do pay a visit to Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor while you're here at Walters Mill Pond.

| | All the water falling down from the sky makes Walters Mill Pond a wet place; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most; February is the month with the least moisture. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tohickon Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Ringing Rocks Family Campground is a brilliant spot to camp. you won't be the only one. Any time is a delightful time at Walters Mill Pond if you fancy the outdoors. Good hiking is available along the Camelback Trail; swing by Bushkill Creek it's a fine site to take a look at. If you want to
play some golf, you're in luck because Sawmill Golf Course is in close proximity, and Shawnee Mountain is a delightful local ski area.
If you like skiing, you're in luck; Camelback is close to Walters Mill Pond, and Walter Power
Dam has brilliant water scenery. Summer at Walters Mill Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Walters Mill Pond descend into the 10's.
