Walker Lake ordinarily gets much rainfall; during June this area sees the most rain while January is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Near Walker Lake you stumble on the Summit Trail which is a good hiking trail, and Middle Creek Dam is not far at all from Walker Lake. This lake is so       wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail near Walker Lake called the Horseshoe Bend Trail; a great place to camp here at Walker Lake is Gray Squirrel Campsites. But wait, there's more to do next to Walker Lake. Camping is available at Mountain Lake Campground, and you might also want to pay a visit to Schrader Gap since you're here at Walker Lake. For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Walker Lake, high temperatures usually get into                  the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Walker Lake. Looking for something in the vicinity of Walker Lake?
