Walden Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Bear Creek Mountain Resort is a great location to get some rest. High temperatures at Walden Pond throughout the summertime months are in the 80's, and the night is slightly colder of course, mostly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Walden Pond. Not far from Walden Pond you obtain some delightful water scenery at Mill Dam,

| | and good skiing awaits you at Spring Mountain.
Bear Creek has great slopes and a friendly staff, and do take a hike on the Buzzard Trail. After a long day outdoors Best Western Pottstown Inn is a good location to spend a night or two, and if you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton. glorious spot to camp, and Hickory Valley Golf Club is a good golf course nearby.
French Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Lenade Trail. Walden Pond gets much water;
all through May this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Unami Creek, and Lazy-k Campground is a wonderful campground nearby.
