If you come at the right time of year, Unami Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. Stay the night at Hickory Park Campground, and Bear Creek Mountain Resort is a great site to get some rest. Walden Pond is a wet site that gets much precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest       of the months is February. At Walden Pond you always meet someone from Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton; after a long day outdoors Best Western Pottstown Inn is a magnificent site to spend a night or two. Knight Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on French Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Buzzard Trail; lovely scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Bear Creek. So many fun                  things to do here at Walden Pond, too magnificent to be true. You don’t have to go far from Walden Pond to observe the water at Mill Dam, and enjoy a round of golf at Hickory Valley Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Spring Mountain is a tremendous site to do that, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Lenade Trail. At Walden Pond throughout the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's.
