In Pennsylvania there are many beautiful lakes, Valley View Lake is one of them. The Settlers Inn is a splendid site to get some rest, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Blooming Grove Trail. At Valley View Lake all through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Valley View Lake.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Rocky Run is a gorgeous stream that is worth stopping at; on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Crawford Trail.
What a site this is for outdoors folks. Lakes? Sure, Lake Wallenpaupack is around here. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Valley View Lake. Club. The top of Buckhorn Mountain is easily observed from Valley View Lake, and the skiing at Ski Big Bear is great.
This lake is so wonderful. Wilsonville Recreation Area is a wonderful local campground; whitewater paddling
is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary. All the water falling down from the sky makes Valley View Lake a wet place; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest
month of the year is February. Valley View Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Camp Watonka is a wonderful site to camp nearby, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on Lackawaxen River.
Everybody
close by loves skiing at Tanglwood; going for a hike along the White Deer Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Tinkwig Lake, and why not visit Valley View Dam if you're here.
