Mountain Vista Campground is a great campground nearby, and you can take a little journey to Lower Dam Sambo Creek since you're here at Lake Valhalla. Really nice skiing awaits you at Shawnee Mountain, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Burley Inlet Trail. Lake Valhalla sees pretty high levels of rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month.       Stay the night at Timothy Lake Resort, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn East Stroudsburg is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. At Lake Valhalla all through the summer months highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lake Valhalla. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Lake Valhalla is unbeatable!
