The view of picturesque Spook Hill near Turquois Lakes is delightful; camping is available at Roaring Run Resort. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. A quick journey to Neals Run next to Turquois Lakes is a delightful idea, and the Darr Trail is a nice hiking trail nearby. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Indian Creek, and Ramada Inn At Historic Ligonier is a perfect       place to get some rest. Really good skiing awaits you at Seven Springs, and a delightful place to camp here at Turquois Lakes is Mountain Pines Resort. The high level of rainfall makes Turquois Lakes a rather wet location; most of the rain falls during July, and February is the month with the least moisture. Hidden Valley has glorious slopes and a friendly staff, and nearby you hit upon the Brant Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.                  If you need a site to stay Donegal - Days Inn is a perfect choice, and going for a hike on the Wolf Rocks Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Summertime highs at Turquois Lakes regularly tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows through the wintertime for Turquois Lakes tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
