After a long day outdoors Wingate by Wyndham Latrobe is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and at Turquois Lakes you can see Spook Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Roaring Run Resort, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Indian Creek. Turquois Lakes frequently gets a large amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month of the year is February. | | just come on down to Turquois Lakes. Be careful coming to Turquois Lakes, you might not ever want to go home again. Take a little journey to Neals Run since you're here at Turquois Lakes, and you can go for a hike on the Darr Trail. You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Hidden Valley, and Turquois Lakes is not the only spot nearby, Blue Hole is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Inn Donegal is a glorious place to get some rest. A round of golf at nearby King's Mountain Golf Course is a pleasant way to kill some time, and don't leave Turquois Lakes without first going for a hike along the Brant Trail.
Get covered with water paddling on Laurel Hill Creek, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Seven Springs while you're here. Turquois Lakes is a great site to visit for more than one day, Mountain Pines Resort
is a great site to camp nearby; a lake close by is Lake Pyle. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Turquois Lakes reach the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Turquois Lakes nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
