Truman Pond is a lake worth visiting. The Silvis Trail offers hiking at its best, and a pleasant view of beautiful Shawkey Hill is available. A great spot for whitewater paddling close to Truman Pond is East Branch Millstone Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Brookville. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Clarion River, and Pine Crest is a nice campground nearby.
