Get dripping wet paddling on Lackawanna River; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Basset Dam. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If the weather is pretty, you obtain a fine panorama of Bull Hill from Trostle Pond. Hampton Inn Clarks SummitScranton is a great choice, and right next door to Trostle Pond you stumble on a golf course called Lakeland Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Clarks Summit, and
Montage Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Elk Mountain, and a lake nearby is Manataka Lake. High temperatures at Trostle Pond through the summer
months are in the 70's, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 20's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Trostle Pond.
