Trostle Pond is a quite wet place typically with a great deal of rainfall; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is frequently the driest month. Paddling on Spring Brook is so much       fun, and camping at How Kola Camp is always a brilliant experience. That right there is lots already, but it goes on; Trostle Pond has it all. During your trip to Trostle Pond you'll meet some folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre for sure; going for a hike on the Refuge Trail is always a splendid adventure. There's some flowing water close by, Kennedy Creek is a stream you can stop at while here, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Pinnacle                  Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place to camp here at Trostle Pond is Sunrise Lake Family Campgrnds; if you get bored of Trostle Pond you could also have a look at nearby Bassett Pond. If you need a spot to stay Hampton Inn Clarks SummitScranton is a great choice, and right next door to Trostle Pond you stumble on a golf course called Lakeland Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Clarks Summit, and Montage Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Elk Mountain, and a lake nearby is Manataka Lake. High temperatures at Trostle Pond through the summer months are in the 70's, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's.
