After a long day outdoors Somerset Knights Inn is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and the snow is perfect at Hidden Valley. You'll meet a lot of folks from Somerset here. All through the months of summer highs here at Triss Lake get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Casselman River in close proximity to Triss Lake, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Middlecreek Golf Course. A day on
the slopes of Seven Springs is just what you need; you can stay the night at Lost Mountain Campground. The high level of precipitation makes Triss Lake a quite wet spot; most of the rain falls through June, and February is when it's
the driest.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Triss Lake; Darr Trail is a fine local trail, and Scottyland Camping Resort and RV is a good campground nearby.
