Go to Lake Thomas if you want to go to a nice lake. Drift down the rapids of Unami Creek in a kayak, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Spring Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake Thomas a wet location; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.

All through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 30's, and night lows at Lake Thomas throughout the winter usually dip into the 10's.
