Hiking along the Flat Ridge Trail is pleasant fun, and Bush Kill Creek is a great whitewater spot nearby. Pond has to offer, you can camp at Ken's woods Campgrounds, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Kinney Trail.
If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Third Pond. There's so much to
do here at Third Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Outdoor World Timothy Lake is a wonderful place for that, and Alpine Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. A fine close by hotel is Fernwood Hotel and Resort,
and perfect skiing awaits you at Shawnee Mountain.
For the period of the days of summer highs here at Third Pond reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. High temperatures
all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Third Pond tend to be in the 10's.
