Take a side spree to Nuangola Outlet; The Ice Ponds is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Nesco Manor is a fine local campground. While you're here at The Ice Ponds you can take a hike along the Pinnacle Trail, and lots of people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre come here. Camping at 81-80 RV Park And Campground is always a great experience,       and a golf course nearby is Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Harveys Creek, and from The Ice Ponds you obtain a good view of Little Nescopeck Mountain. The Ice Ponds gets a typical amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is June; January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel &                  Suites DRUMS-HAZLETON (I-80) is a wonderful choice, and in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wapwallopen Creek. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Hazleton North is a tremendous location to spend a night or two; do go to Lake Blytheburn, it's a wonderful lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to The Ice Ponds with nighttime lows in the 50's.
