Blue Giant Meadow Dam is a place that is near The Ice Ponds; you'll find a wonderful lake called Blue Giant Meadow Lake. Take a side spree to Nuangola Outlet; The Ice Ponds is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Nesco Manor is a fine local campground. While you're here at The Ice Ponds you can take a hike along the Pinnacle Trail, and lots of people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre come here. Camping at 81-80 RV Park And Campground is always a great experience,

| | and a golf course nearby is Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Harveys Creek, and from The Ice Ponds you obtain a good view of Little Nescopeck Mountain. Lodge Hazleton North is a tremendous location to spend a night or two; do go to Lake Blytheburn, it's a wonderful lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to The Ice Ponds with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime
are regularly in the 30's, and night lows at The Ice Ponds all through the wintertime usually fall into the 10's.
