A visit to Tar Run Reservoir is always a good idea. Mountain Valley Golf Course is a fine golf course nearby, and if you came to camp Christmas Pines Camp Ground is a brilliant place to do that. An average amount of rain falls at Tar Run Reservoir; most of the rain falls through June, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Bolivar Run if you're here at Tar Run Reservoir; you'll probably meet some people from Pottsville

This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Sand Spring Trail, and Tar Run Reservoir is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Red Ridge Lake Campground is a splendid local campground. Blue Marsh is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and you can go for a hike on the Yellick Path.

and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Tar Run Reservoir temperatures dip to the 10's. Not far from
Tar Run Reservoir, you'll come across Mud Run Reservoir which is a pretty lake, and don't leave Tar Run Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Northkill Path. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can
always go whitewater paddling on Black Creek, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Frackville, Pa is a great location to get some rest.
That right there is loads already, but it goes on; Tar Run Reservoir has it all. There are
other spots here than Tar Run Reservoir, for example Mountain Shadow Lake, and whitewater paddling is good on Nescopeck Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Frackville; at Tar Run Dam near Tar Run Reservoir there are some interesting things to see.
