Do stop by Tamaque Lake while you're in this part of Pennsylvania. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Lakeside Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Airy Lodge while you're here. Lutherland Dam is worth a visit since you're here, and the Indian Trail is a splendid hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Tamaque Lake is a good spot to visit

Tamaque Lake gets much water; through the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February.
You'll meet a lot of people from East Stroudsburg here, and if you don’t have a problem getting
dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tunkhannock Creek. You definitely have to go for Tamaque Lake. Very pretty scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Camelback, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn
& Suites is a great choice. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
At Tamaque Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's.
The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Tamaque Lake. Stay the night at Mount Pocono Campground; Best Western Inn At Blakeslee Pocono is a good spot to get some rest.
