At Tamaque Lake throughout the summer highs are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Tamaque Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Tamaque Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July       while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. On a tremendous day at Tamaque Lake you can take a hike along the Camelback Trail; Comfort Inn & Suites is a tremendous spot to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Tamaque Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mount Pocono Campground, and get covered with water paddling on Tunkhannock Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location.                  This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn & Suites, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Indian Trail. If you're here at Tamaque Lake, you could visit Beaver Creek; during your journey here you'll meet some folks from East Stroudsburg for sure. Really glorious skiing awaits you at Camelback, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Lakeside Trail. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Tamaque Lake. Mount Airy Lodge has delightful slopes and a friendly staff; Lake Naomi is a nearby lake that you could pop by.
