If you came to camp Rosemount Camping Resort is a wonderful spot to do that, and after a long day outdoors HAZLETON MOTOR INN is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. Lower Owl Creek Dam has good water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Tamaqua Reservoirs; a lake nearby is Greenwood Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Tamaqua Reservoirs a pretty wet       location; most of the rain falls during May while February is generally the driest month. Throughout the summer here at Tamaqua Reservoirs, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Tamaqua Reservoirs temperatures drop to the 10's. Going for a hike on the Pinnacle Trail is always a fine adventure, and                  dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn Hazleton. This lake is so wonderful. There are fine places to discover along the Valley Rim Trail; get soaked paddling on Black Creek. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Tamaqua Reservoirs. There's some flowing water close by, Owl Creek is a stream you can pop by while you're here, and camping at Blue Rocks Family Campground is always a good experience. There is a delightful hiking trail close to Tamaqua Reservoirs called the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and if you get bored of Tamaqua Reservoirs you could also visit close by Upper Owl Creek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
