If you are in this part of Pennsylvania make sure to pay a visit to Synder Pond. All the outdoors exciting stuff near Synder Pond will keep you coming back repeatedly. Synder Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Kampgrounds Amer Allentown is a great local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Lehigh Valley West. Synder Pond without first going for a hike along the Valley Rim Trail, and camping at Pine Hill RV Park is always a perfect experience.
Summertime highs at Synder Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's, and the night is a tad
cooler of course, usually in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Synder Pond tend to be in the 10's. Go for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail,
and from Synder Pond you get a wonderful sight of Flint Hill.
There's good hiking along the Pinnacle Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Lehigh River offers some great whitewater.
