Swigart Pond is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Hemlock Hideaway Campground is a magnificent spot to camp nearby, and you're in all probability hooked on       lakes, White Deer Lake is one of those close by. Why not pop by nearby Garner Run while you're here at Swigart Pond; of course, this is a great region for people who like lakes, Diamond Lake is a lake nearby. A common amount of rain falls here at Swigart Pond; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Swigart Pond. When the night sets in temperatures                  descend down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Swigart Pond plunge into the 10's. The Ramsey Trail is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Swigart Pond, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Huntingdon for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn Huntingdon is a tremendous location to get some rest, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Tussey Trail. There's always Hutchison Dam to take a look at in close proximity to Swigart Pond, and a fine spot nearby is Diamond Valley. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Camp Blue Diamond is a wonderful campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Black Moshannon Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
