And that's not all you can do here at Swiftwater Lake. Lindenmere Sports & Arts center is a good local campground, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Camelback Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Maple Rock Campsite is a nice location to camp; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Evergreen Golf Club is nearby. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Paradise Falls, of       course you could also stop by Lake Crawford while you're here; it's not far at all. If you need a place to stay Great Wolf Lodge - Poconos PA is a brilliant choice, and you could always look at Redrock Glen. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the nice skiing at Mount Airy Lodge, and people from East Stroudsburg love to come here. For the duration of the summertime at Swiftwater Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows                  descend down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Swiftwater Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Alpine Mountain since you're here, and don't forget to take a nice little visit to Cranberry Creek. A good place for whitewater paddling near Swiftwater Lake is Pocono Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Caesars Paradise Stream. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Swiftwater Lake to observe the water at Lake Swiftwater Dam, and if you've had enough of Swiftwater Lake, Freeland Pond is nearby. While you're here at Swiftwater Lake you can take a hike along the Lakeside Trail. Swiftwater Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. That right there is plenty already, but it continues; Swiftwater Lake has it all.
